District Attorney Ford Cole has a good shot at becoming mayor. Well, he is until assistant D.A. Nora Timmer (Jolene Blalock) is charged with killing a man whom she says she offed in self defense. However, not all the facts seem to back up her story, especially when a strange man completely contradicts her version of events.
