Based on a true events Plastic tells the story of a ring of university students led by Sam who become credit card thieves in order to supplement their income. Events soon spiral out of control as they accidentally rob a notorious gangster Marcel. Now owing a bigger debt then ever, the students decide to target big spenders who frequent Miami on spending sprees. Marcel decides to set his henchman Tariq off in pursuit, to Miami, in order to force them to pay ten times the amount they stole, with interest. In order to clear this huge debt, the students Fordy Yatesey, Rafa and Frankie led by Sam (Ed Speleers), plan a daring jewellery heist which makes matters a whole lot worse.
